That's the most realistic looking miniature I've ever seen! Amazing.

It makes me want to dig out both Alamo movies I have and watch them, the John Wayne version and the Billy Bob Thornton version.

Beautiful stuff.

John Priest did an Alamo participation game in 54mm at a Con that I saw, and it was magnificent. This should be stunning as well…

A great figure , rough and ready , no oil painting
as I imagine this fellow would look like.
A true capture of the spirit.
Ged you promised me many moons ago Santa Anna mounted.
The dashing daredevil, a soldier, a lover, a passion for the
arts. Will he be there at Salute. Jack has told me that
to capture his elagance a certain you may be used as a model.
Will you dress at Salute as Santa Anna , this would
make the day perfect as I think only you have the grace,
beauty, and swagger to capture him in the flesh.
A web of sin for all.
Well done.

malamute27 Feb 2013 3:08 a.m. PST

I for one would love to see Ged dressed as Santa Anna.

Olive why don't you volunteer to dress as the Yellow Rose of Texas and spend the day distrcting Ged from the task at hand. That way the Alamo might be saved after all?

Geoff B27 Feb 2013 4:00 a.m. PST

Ged will steal the show as Santa Anna.
Looking foward to Salute even more.

CooperSteveOnTheLaptop27 Feb 2013 8:32 a.m. PST

I'll be there helping Ged run it, all being well… first convention in 7 years so you're all very honoured!

WarWizard27 Feb 2013 8:41 a.m. PST

These look excellent. But you are going to need 'a lot more men' if you are going to run an entire Alamo game. Will you have an army scuplted and painted by April 20? I would love to see that!!

Warwizard ……….i have the troops aiming at potraying

the Mexicans on a one equals two ration..goal 800…..

the defenders a few more ratio wise say 120 or so

otherwise they will look

even more outnumbered then they were…..all the gun

enplacement will have the required artillery pieces…

everything will be ready in time!
