Is this really a surprise? Fans of 40k have been clamoring for years for a return to the class Rogue Trader style orks. Oh well. Out GWing Gw, I guess.

Wish they made them in 20mm though….

Well, I did sculpt some 20mm space orcs last year. Four of them. They're more of a in fatigues with combat rifles and differently proportioned than the 40k look but sculpt them I did. I kinda burned out on the project after Christmas and haven't been motivated to work on it for about three months.

I think my thinking was that 20mm figures would take less metal and be lighter for shipping. Alternately, since my 28mm sculpts have a way of coming out at 32mm or so, maybe I was aiming for 25mm.

The goal is an sf range with some breadth and depth but I started out on the low hanging fruit, cats, dogs, humans, orcs, dwarfs, I'd like to get into doing some weirder stuff but I expect the ordinary and mundane generally has to carry the obscure and unusual in this industry. I really should photograph them sometime, I dunno, I just burnned out on it for a while.

I will be buying them I am going completely retro rejecting the larger scales GW has come out with. I like the original Orks with personality.
