>Simple D6-based combat mechanics that combine morale and injury into a single roll. Here is were you lost me. Different things should not be combined to make things extra-simple. At least imho. |

Puster – Its on multiple dice, not one. Basically you roll "kill" and "shock" dice in a pool whenever you attack. Each die is read for 1's and 6's with various factors granting extra dice, rerolls or chances to deflect enemy dice. So a target may be wounded or dead (based on Kill dice results) or they may be shaken or broken (based on Shock dice results) afterwards. |

OK, then I will give it a try. The campaign system sounds like it could be fun creating a framework for the campaign. After gaming the Hârnworld Manor rules for two decades, I am not sure your fief will manage to keep up, but that again looks promising for a campaign system. At $12 USD I will just get me a copy, though in two weeks when I have time to check it. If its too good it might interfere with working demands otherwise :-) |

Yeah, definitely not the same level of detail as Harn :-) (and always nice to see other Harn fans) Its more of a narrative frame work to generate interesting wargames, than a hard simulation. I hope you'll enjoy it! |

I am a big fan of Five Core, but I am curious how it would transfer to a melee based game. For example what has replaced Firefights? Also Assault/melee combat was very simplified and abstract in 5C. It would be great to see a description of how the mechanics differ. |
