It is a good time for 15 mm Science Fiction Wargaming.

These are awesome – but one dumb question – how many of each model come in the second infantry set?

khurasanminiatures03 Feb 2012 9:23 a.m. PST

Not a dumb question Greg, I should have been clearer -- you get two SAWs, two RPGs, and four pulse riflers.

Spooner603 Feb 2012 10:13 a.m. PST

Really, you release these now! I was trying to put my 15mm sci-fi project on hold so I can work on some historical stuff. But now these come out.

One of the mortar crew can be painted as wounded figure…

Those look great.

I looking at these guys thinking something is wrong here. Then it hits me, would it not be high on imposable for these guys to look down or to the side? with out the face shield thing moving through their chest??

nazrat03 Feb 2012 12:14 p.m. PST

Oh, come on! It's science fiction-- can't you come up with even one semi- plausible explanation for something as simple as that? Like the helmet has sensors on the front and sides that puts a 3-D image inside the helmet or something like that? Use some imagination, man! If you can't, won't, or don't, what's the point of playing SF?

BaSaint03 Feb 2012 12:42 p.m. PST

Dont you see that big hinge on the sides? They flip up :)

sweet minis too

khurasanminiatures03 Feb 2012 1:03 p.m. PST

Actually the helmet (round part with visor) is not attached to the gorget. However since the head is a separate master casting, it is only depicted looking straight ahead.

And presumably any enclosed sci fi helmet is going to have at least some VR element to it.

And by the way Greg the same applies to the mortar team -- the pack has two each of everything you see in the image.

Some more great minis, from a company which moved me entirely from 28mm sci-fi gaming into 15mm. I need to get some Control Battalion reinforcements in order to finally quash those rebels on Arcticus 4.
