That is really great-looking, and a good price for such a sizeable model. Years of watching _Thomas the Tank Engine_ with my children gave me an idea for "Sealion comes to Sodor." This would involve a demolition party -- including a small tank engine pulling a flatcar of engineering supplies -- making its way to Sodor Harbor to deny a shipping crane to the enemy. This would be a perfect objective for that scenario!

Very nice! That's the kind of scenery that's so cool that I would CREATE a need for it.

Curse you, Joerg! Your awesome products are going to drain my retirement plan! Must…resist!

Ah, screw it. With my lifestyle, retirement might be a tad unrealistic, anyway.

This is very nice. Does it break-down into smaller components for storage? If so, how much space is needed to store it? Again, very nice!

Thanks a lot for your positive feed back! I really appreciate this!

@ The Angry Piper:
Resistance is futile! wink

@ LostPict:

It does break down (never thought about mentioning this):
The tracks are separate (4 pieces, each 11" x 1" x 1").
The crane itself splits into two parts:
- the undercarriage (5" x 5" x 8") and
- the upper structure (14" x 10" x 2").

That is a great looking kit!
A few weeks ago I asked for a quote on some custom bases. I received the quote the very same day. So I placed the order for the bases as well as for a couple of other kits. I received the parcel three days later!
Joerg provided incredibly fast and excellent service. He has me hooked as I eagerly await the new 15mm kits
