The front string running THROUGH the back bow must seriously impedes its stability. More so, both strings when released would have a (slightly) different velocity and thus position. It it questionable that you could shoot forward with such a design, or that the added complexity is worth the added power.

As somebody who has used a longbow before and stared at historical and contemporary depictions of archers for a couple of decades these simply do not work for me.

That said, I do have miniatures of this company and like them for sculpt and casting.

But the High Elves are more advanced than we are, so surely they have engineered it properly. grin

I thought the bows were side-by-side, but upon studying the pics, I see that the bows are 'stacked'.
