Wow, they are very nice. Need to check these sizes all fit for 15mm FOG. |

Nice looking fields. Everything I've seen from Hotz Mats is top quality. I did a bunch like this a few years ago on masonite. They are tough, but don't conform to rolls on table being stiff. Being made of cloth, they would be able to form fit. Great idea. |

A bit small for 15mm, any chance to see an up-scaling of the fields? |
| CPBelt | 16 May 2012 5:01 a.m. PST |
The entire world doesn't revolve around 15mm. Very nice, but I fear how long it would take him to ship them out. |

You're right. I'd like to see them big enough for 28mm

Yes, we need fields for 28mm gaming. |

Could we have a photo of them with various scale figures please? |

28mm ploughed fields? Ask for Jumbo Cord off-cuts from your local carpet shop. |

"A bit small for 15mm, any chance to see an up-scaling of the fields?" They look OK with 15mm (see last photo in our photo gallery). However, we will make larger scales if there is enough demand. Orders received today will ship tomorrow (Thursday). E.H.

This look nice. Any word on dirt roads? I want to get some rivers, roads, and maybe a mat all in one order. |

28mm, please! I have three of your mats begging for them! |

28mm, please! I have three of your mats begging for them! I calculate 28mm scale field furrows being about 8.5mm apart if measured from center of furrow-to-center of furrow. When people say they want 28mm fields, how big are the fields you need? I have the artwork pre-made for a set of 28mm scale fields measuring 22x15 inches in area, divided in three separate fields: one field measures 14.5x12.0 inches. and the two other fields measure 9.4x7.25 inches. |

I just ordered some for my 10mm stuff. I will post photos when I get them. -Bryan |

Field (furrow) size comparison:
Miniature's scale (from left to right): Hotspur 28mm, Corvus Belli 15mm, Baccus 6mm (two figs on base) and Heroics & Ros 6mm (4 figs on base). This photo is also in our photo gallery page: link NOTE: Although listed as 15mm, the Corvus Belli 15mm miniature shown above is closer to 18mm scale, or what is known as large 15mm miniatures -- measured from the bottom of their feet to the top of their heads. They are 15mm if measured from the bottom of their feet to their eyes (I just measured them before posting this note/photo comparison). |

I think they'll work well enough with 15mm figures. |

I drove out to the farming belt in our area and walked onto two corn fields. The fields were being prepared for this year's crop so had recently been plowed. Since the two fields were right next to the highway, it was easy to get onto the fields, measure and photograph them. I took this data home and calculated the scale of our Felt Fields to be 15mm scale, but they also look good with 10mm and 6mm miniatures. Our next Felt Field sets will be up scaled. E.H.
