Brilliant. Any chance of advancing/attacking figures with bayonets?

With or without mustache. That may be the greatest figure variation/distinction I've ever seen.

But why would anyone buy them without? The mustache makes the man!

justBill15 Oct 2014 8:58 a.m. PST

Order placed!

huevans01115 Oct 2014 9:01 a.m. PST

Glad they didn't do a "without mustache" pack for officers and NCO's.

As late as 1916, officers who shaved their upper lip were still being court-martialled and broken.

general btsherman15 Oct 2014 9:05 a.m. PST

These look lovely. Does anyone know how they compare to Peter Pig? Cheers.

kallman15 Oct 2014 10:49 a.m. PST

I would curious how they compare with the Blue Moon figures.

They look great. This may get my early war project back on track.

My crew already has British, French and Germans in late war gear, and Middle Eastern theater in 10mm. Oh, these are tempting…

Early morning writer15 Oct 2014 12:11 p.m. PST

If they add German East Africa, both (all?) sides, then I'm in for certain sure. That is the last period I will be adding figures for. (Still awaiting the Blue Moon Boxers to decide whether to add more to that 'little' collection.)

Very, very nice figures – and wonderful paint job!

Oh, and while the British did make a difference – I wouldn't agree they made ALL the difference. They damn near didn't make any show at all which forced the French to make challenging decisions. Though the French made plenty of misplaced decisions of their own. What really saved the Allies bacon was hesitation on the part of the German high command. Had they stuck to their resolve and their master plan they would have won the war by early 1915. Maybe. – brick bat dodging practice time -

Jon, superbly done. Your sculptor and painter have captured The Old Contemptibles to a tee right down to their mustaches. Bravo!

So. Mad Minute anyone? evil grin

That is the last period I will be adding figures for.

We've all had that delusion at one time or another.

Bashytubits15 Oct 2014 4:37 p.m. PST

I would guess they should match blue moon fairly well as Jon's 15mm stuff is actually 18mm and he states this regularly.

Fergal15 Oct 2014 8:16 p.m. PST

Another brilliant release from Khurasan! Just beautiful models, and even better when you know they are 15's.

Khurasan, keep showing us what is possible!

And down the rabbit hole I go…

Mike Broadbent is really a brilliant sculptor.

Yes, these figures are absolutely stunning, and in my opinion, fully justify the higher price of 83 cents per figure. The French figures in this range all have fixed bayonets, in contrast to the British. Is this a reflection of French v. British tactics from this period?

Khurasan's website provides a figure comparison with other miniature ranges. They appear to be on the smaller end of 15mm link
On the other hand, Mike Broadbent's work for Eureka is definitely on the larger 18mm size of the scale.

Heinz Good Aryan16 Oct 2014 8:49 a.m. PST

all mustache kidding aside these are fantastic….

GGouveia16 Oct 2014 10:11 a.m. PST

Incredible work as usual, any way we could have them with bayonets????? Love the staches. I am very tempted with these releases to get into EW ww1.

I've found Khurasan to be on the larger side actually. Certainly bigger than Peter Pig and QRF.

Royal Marine16 Oct 2014 12:37 p.m. PST

Will we be seeing other Brits such as the Naval Division in 1914?

Axebreaker16 Oct 2014 2:54 p.m. PST

Excellent! It does make me consider the period with such fine detail.

They look really great. The line just needs cavalry for the armies.

It would be cool to try the Command Decision WW1 scenarios using these figures!
