OK, I get it now. This is a Kickstarter like project. (it helps to click on the link to see what this is all about ) These look to be very nice figures and I would be interested in purchasing some of them for my 28mm 1806 armies. More details please. Since my Prussians are organized at 10:1 ratio in 60-figure battalions, little groups of 16 figures does not help me very much. |

Hi Alte Fritz Thanks fr oyour kind words. Yes it is a new range and we are using Indiegogo to try to raise enough money to make all the figures we would like to. At the moment with Indiegogo only Musketeers, Grenadiers and Fusiliers with their command, a mounted colonel and schutzen are available ( we do not have all the figures yet) but we hope our campaign will be successful enough to make what we plan. The first figures will be available for regular sales in June but Indiegogo Perks prices are much more interesting. Here are more details here: link Cheers Franck FG MiniZ indiegogo.com/28mmprussian link forgottenglorious.blogspot.fr fgminizpaint.blogspot.fr dbmarmies.blogspot.fr |

This is a Kickstarter like project. I think they use Indiegogo because Kickstarter is not set up conveniently for Europeans. |

I just signed up for some. DAF, if you sign up for the larger options you can have enough for bigger units with some command left over, which can bee filled in by ordering more later or signing up for multiple option 1s. It's is a much needed range. Other than the old Elite range I am not sure anyone else makes them in 28mm |

That looks a really good range, so wish you well. Wrong scale for me more's the pity, otherwise I would be up for this. But this will drop off the news page so how will you keep it "live"? |

Really nice I might have to get some of these for skirmish games. Great start and keep up the good work! Michael |

I should have said "level one." Since this allows you to pick your figures you can build any size regiment you want. |

Can you tell us what happens if you do not reach your monetary goal in 60 days? Finally someone is going to make 28mm 1806 Prussians (that look to be REALLY good) and I lose my job. Oh the irony since I've been asking for someone to make this range for a long, long time. |
Der Alte Fritz | 19 Feb 2013 9:33 p.m. PST |
I hope that these figures make it into production as they would instantly be the best range of 28mm 1806 Prussians. |

I'm signing up, if this goes ahead I'll be ordering a a few victrix early French to fight them |
Forgotten Glorious | 20 Feb 2013 6:58 a.m. PST |
Thank you very much for all your kind coments 18th Century Guy: Of course we will reach the goal and may be more ^^ ( just kidding) well in our mind we really want to develop this range and we will do it even if the goal and the strech goals are not reached but as all this costs a lot of money it will take a lot of time. In the past we already tried to make a range but our former sculptor seems to have disappeared from the surface of the Earth. This time we are working with Ebob who is a very serious person and I am sure we will not have any trouble with him Of course, participating to our Indiegogo campaign is a challenge for us and for our customers because nothing is sure but I am pretty sure a lot of people will be interested in this project. von Winterfeldt | 20 Feb 2013 10:22 a.m. PST |
an interesting project, I would only wish the research would be done with the identical comittment of sculpting and painting. I wish they would have avoided the usual mistakes creating Prussian equipment. |

Franck, perhaps you could ask von Winterfeldt what inaccuracies he is referring to. |

Am I correct in understanding that this is a "Flexible Funding" campaign, meaning that if you don't meet your goal, you nonetheless keep my money? |
Forgotten Glorious | 22 Feb 2013 3:20 a.m. PST |
To Alte Fritz: I understand the different ratio problems: a lot of people has already asked us to add new perks with 24,48,96 or 120 figures of their choice so I am going to try to add this as soon as possible. To dbf1676: yes if von Winterfeldt has the kindness to share his ideas and knowledge (he had already gave us very good advice in the past and I thank him again for that) I would be very happy. To Klumpenproletariat: yes the money is kept because as said above anyway this range will exist but if we do not get enough money know things will be slower to be released. The money received is already going to be used with Ebob to order him some new figures. Franck, I think you need to explain to people in a clear and concise way what happens to someone's money if they purchase some of your options and you do not reach your goals. I see where you told Klumpenproletariat that his money is kept but will he lose everything or will he still get the figures he ordered but maybe it will take longer for them to be produced? You need to clearly detail out what happens with people's money. No one will help you if they will totally lose their 'investment'. |

As I have wrote it in a privete email to 18th Century Guy I am going to make a new message on TMP to show some comparison shots and to try to clarify things: well no one who paticipated our campaign will lose his money. The figures ordered among unlocked options will be shipped/ If someone buys 1 battalion of musketeers he will receive whether the campaign's goals are reached or not. Of course if the Cuirassiers are not unlocked he will not be able to change his order ( or if he agrees to wait the time necessary to have them done). I hope all this is a little bit clearer but I will try to explain the risks in our next announcement Cheers Franck FG MiniZ indiegogo.com/28mmprussian link forgottenglorious.blogspot.fr fgminizpaint.blogspot.fr dbmarmies.blogspot.fr |
Cheriton | 26 Feb 2013 11:01 a.m. PST |
Franck: I hope all this is a little bit clearer but I will try to explain the risks in our next announcement Thank you for expanding the details. In the example of the musketeer battalion, would shipment await the 60-day period mentioned or be shipped as available? I fully intend to acquire sufficient figures for those Prussian troops available at the end of 1806 through the 1807 campaign. Given time, funds and the reqiored figures' I would then consider expanding to the 1806 campaign itself. I wish you success with this effort and eagerly await further details, especially risks and the procedure for participation. Cheers, Michael

Looking good. Is there a PDF document with all this info? I would like to print it. |
