Battle of Kleinbeeren
July 14th, 1813

This is a hypothetical scenario loosely based on the actual engagement at Grossbeeren.

Background: On the 14th July 1813, after a short peace, Napoleon sent an army under Oudinot to march north toward Berlin. This was with the eventual idea of capturing Berlin and knocking Prussia out of the war completely.

Scenario: Beginning at the 8AM Day Segment, the Prussian-Swedish force must prevent the French from successfully taking Kleinbeeren and marching north.

French Briefing: You have encountered a Prussian-Swedish force on your way north toward Berlin. You must engage and force the enemy to withdraw.

Swedish-Prussian Briefing: Surprised in finding such a sizable French force this far north, you are ordered to engage the French, secure Kleinbeeren, and prevent them from marching past you.

Reinforcements: The French Division will arrive starting on a 30% chance to arrive on the 10AM Day segment. The Swedish-Prussian reinforcements begin rolling at 12 Noon Day Segment, with 40% to arrive. Follow the normal arrival rules once they arrive.

Weather Conditions: Clear.

We hope you enjoy this fun take on a a battle, so as to include the Swedish army without having to deploy too many forces.

Corps Command 3rd Edition is HR Games' divisional-level Napoleonic system. Corps Command 1st Edition was released in 1994. This latest edition continues to grow and expand. Corps Command III brings fast-play components together with elements that define Napoleonic play. Players will find some reviews on TMP. The system is fully supported with an active Yahoo! Group with play aides, a comprehensive campaign system with seven scenarios and a full-color campaign, and a complete naval system called Line of Battle that integrates all of the elements into a dedicated miniatures campaign system that covers the world.
