I am looking for small houses, buildings and factories no bigger than say the buildings used in a Monopoly game? Any suggestions?

Hmmmm… try the 2mm terrain from Irregular Miniatures. What are you using them for?

2mm is pretty tiny (whole village on a potato chip).

You might try 6mm (1/300 scale) buildings. They would be perhaps a bit larger than monopoly buildings.

You could also look at the various paper buildings available for free or pay (e.g., Fiddler's Green). Any digital image can be printed at any size and assembled.

Langton has some 1:1200 buildingins in their Napoleonic section:

Irregular's 2mm are the only ones that fit your description that I know of. Langton's may say they are 1/1200th but they are larger than the 1/900th (nominal 2mm scale) if Irregular.

You can buy the Monopoly houses and paint to suit.

Here's some pics of Monopoly houses I painted up quick for a 3D Axis and Allies Miniatures board:

Great Hall Games in Austin sells the Monopoly buildings on-line.

If those houses were say 1/285th scale (and I could argue that they are) I would say Action Terrain makes a great selection.

Hey Charger, those look pretty cool.
Neat looking game too, but that much "out of scale" stuff would kill me I think. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. They will be used as bombing targets for an Aeronef game next week at Owlcon. What scale (if any) do the monopoly houses fall under? Is 2mm too big or smaller?

They're probably about 2mm. Close enough so that you could get away with it.

There's a game called "Empire" that makes a lot fo buildings that size. They come in littel "village" packs with 3 or 4 buildings each. Pretty nice little models, too.
