Finally found my copy of Starfaring last night, and I scanned every picture that had Slish in them that I could find for you, all four of them. Unless you really want to know what a Slish looks like, don't bother looking at these… the art work is god awfull. link Also one of the pieces is in rather… dubious taste. I didn't realize that not only was Starfaring one of the first SF RPG's, it also beat out the Japanese cartoons for the subject of tentacle sex. Ick. |

Thermian's are certainly Slishy, they just need the 4 extra eyes. Boy, Slish who need glasses or contacts really have it rough. |

***slish….slish*****Houston…erm, MARIETTA…we have 'SLISH****lookout, Sgt DWW has got a whole pound of flex-sculpy in his tentacles and he KNOWS how to 'abuse' it!!!! I'm downloading and saving the images now! What a DAY!…My figures from CMON 'finally' arrived…I got my LAB 'Brick' and it had 4 DIFFERENT UNIQUES int it…and now…the SLISH!!!….I'm gonna have to buy everyone a rootbeer float in the LOUNGE!! Beside the four cartoony images, do you have a sketch of what you really want them to look like?And how tall would they have to be? I was thinking they looked pretty easy to sculpt myself. About human height, maybe a little bigger, certainly more massive. Twelve main tentacles plus the "hand" clusters? Rich |

it looks like they have more than one 'variation' in eye clusters…(besides the main 'eyes') two setsof 'zoidburg' mouth 'gloves'…? (Zoidburg always looked like he had a rubber glove on his face for a moustache and I love it when he went 'mrrrooooooowwww'…like a purr and they did the 'wave'…8-)… Such good fun…I'm hoping to get started on a couple of them by this weekend in flex-sculpy and maybe a small epoxy version too!…the head and eyes were what I couldn't 'remember'…I have to print them out and maybe 'clean up' the artwork a bit…and then rescan it in but I'm NOT complaining…(someday…I WILL find my copy)… as a note…to the 'somewhat adult image iwht the slish and human female…later (or earlier in the game)…it has the SAME female with a protrudinig/pg belly..and two other spacers arguing, 'But I'll have you know, Slish and humans are not interfertile' and she's looking at her belly and going…Gee…I sure hope so…!! (erm…science goes amuck again with interspecies love-child…long before Galaxy Quest!!! 8-0 Carpe' tentacle'um!
