I was in Toys R Us today and found some new Hasbro Titanium Series releases (well, new to me, at least). Of particular interest are the Star Wars Invisible Hand, General Grievous' flagship, and the BSG Colonial One.

The Invisible Hand is about 3-3/4" long and Colonial One is about 3-1/2" long, so it looks like they'd fit in with A Call to Arms and Cold Navy ships. I don't have any Full Thrust ships, so I can't say about them. Obviously, they wouldn't be in actual scale, but used as non-specific ships they'd work fine (for reference, IH is listed as 1,088 meters long, and C1 is listed as 277 feet long). They're also already painted, although Colonial One looks a little more slapdash than Invisible Hand.

There was also a red TIE Interceptor (a Royal Guard fighter), an MT-TE (6-legged walker tank from Geonosis) and a Stormtrooper on Bantha, a bit too small for 25/28mm, unfortunately.

Ooops--actually, that was a Stormtrooper on Dewback.

Was the walker scaled to 15mm?

Darn, I'm waiting for them to get the INVISIBLE HAND metal in at our Walmart…as I'd gotten some of the last wave…just because I got there as they were putting them up!

The 'Invisible Hand' plastics I got from Wizards of the Coast were both BENT…and I haven't dared try to heat them enough to straighten them!

The titanium series is also bringing out the Battlestar Pegasus and Original Series CYLON Raider…among others!

I've got the two vipers from the 'new' series and one of the new cylons…(not Scar, yet)…and will hope to snag a "Peggy" and a couple of the 'old BSG Cylon Raiders' when they come out…(along with the Invisible Hand)…

Rumor has it they are going to do the ORIGINAL Galactica, Base Star and NEW 'base star' from New show sometime too…maybe by Nov 07???

It is just so 'hit or miss' on some of this stuff…or you pay UNGODLY prices on ebay….sheeshe…

So, apparently the Red Baron has been resurrected…..

Was the walker scaled to 15mm?

First, a correction: That would be the AT-TE. I think it may be a bit small for 15mm. I didn't really note the size of it, since it didn't fit any scale I was interested in, but from what I remember of the size it's a little small.

I'm guessing it's about 3" to 3-1/2" long. If 15mm is 1/120 scale (assuming average height is 6' or 1800mm, then 15mm is 1/120 of that), then the AT-TE should be 103.3mm or 4" long. That's based on the dimensions given for the AT-TE in Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Vehicles & Vessels. It is listed as 12.4 meters long. That seems a little suspect, though, as an X-Wing has long been listed as being 12.5 meters long.

If you go with 15mm as 1/107, as suggested by the scale reference on this site, then a 15mm AT-TE needs to be 4-1/2" long. It is supposed to carry 20 clone troopers in addition to the 7-man crew, according to starwars.com.

So, apparently the Red Baron has been resurrected…..

Long ago in Star Wars books, yes. Baron Soonter Fel, 181st fighter squadron. Though his TIE has red stripes instead of being all red.

I'm keeping an eye out for the Original Cylon Raiders and Vipers, but haven't seen any around yet.
All our stores seem to carry are those awful looking Tranformer Titanuim figures.
