hi, i was told that there is no more dealer space in the dealer area to accomodate my table at Historicon. i was looking for one table..... i have no representation elsewhere as i am the manufacturer and the distributor if you will. myself and Legions East where going to share the space..... if anybody has an extra table to "sublease" (if that's the correct term) please email me and i'll try to work out some compensation for it. i and Legions East really would like to attend. my email is mnall@nycap.rr.com thank you!

A dealer table is $100 I am willing to pay $200 to sit in there. I have tried to get in for the last two years, no luck. Although rejected, courteously I may add, I have been told that there is a 50 table waiting list and I'm 52. Everything sells in the dealer and you get your price thats why the spaces are so sought after.

Is it confirmed that the dealer area is full up? From talking with other people I got the impression that some long time exhibitors were not getting tables anymore. The problem is that the incrase in sales for attending did not justify the cost of going. Some companies that hsad been there for years/decades view going as not helping their market or expsure to new customers since anyone that is interested in their products already know about them. One person that I sopke to today, who reports going as an exhibitor for about 30 years is that thier best year they sold $5,400 USD and it cost them about $2,000 USD for everything, including staff, rooms and meals. Assuming a 50% gross maring it would mean they netted about $700 USD and condiered it to 'not be worth it' plus with the move the lancaste host, rooms are more expensive and parking is a problem, limited and exepensive even for people who have on site hotel roosm, and parking 'only if it is available, where as Lancast host had lots of open space.

Guys, I'm not sure where you're getting your information but none of this is correct. Jeff, there is space in the Historicon exhibit hall. There was a few days it was full while we reallocated space to fit more booths. There has been space at the last few shows. There's no 50 company waiting list, there's no waiting list. Dealer tables are not $100. USD I'm not sure who you are ZombieKillers but we haven't turned anyone away the last two years. Zombie, I don't know who told you that. The Wyndham doesn't have more parking than downtown and HMGS covers parking downtown so it's not more expensive. (The Wyndham used to be the Host) You guys are welcome to contact me or our exhibitor manager for accurate information if you need it.

It's not too late to attend this year but this close to the show space is more expensive than it would have been a couple months ago.
