Which figure(s) would you want representing you and your kind on the gaming table?

There are quite a few illustrated here:

However, you may have another one in mind.

I like Reaper's Gogglers.

I have quite a few Dragon Rune Komodons. They are my favs.

Mysterioso15 Dec 2006 8:34 a.m. PST

Note: Reviresco's are VERY small for 28mm. I have slowly been building up an army of Deep Ones and these will work as young ones.

Skrapwelder15 Dec 2006 8:37 a.m. PST

The west wind Deep Ones are some of my favorites.

If I were a Fishy Man!

Sorry could not resist. I am also partial to the reaper goglers, although I wish there were more poses.

Although there are plenty of companys that do the odd fish man, very few do an large enough range to build up a sizeable force.

I've been looking for some Gerry Anderson Stingray-type fish men for a VSF project for ages. They just don't seen to be out there.

The only things suitable for ocean floor adventures that I've found are the Reviresco swimming gillmen.

It's high time someone turned out a range of fish men we can really sink our teeth into!

The General got there first, so I don't have to…

I have to say that I do like the Horrorclix Deep One, although there is only one of him so far. Nice sculpt and one of the few clix singles I have not felt the need to repaint.

Anyone have links for the Reviresco and West Wind figs?

These guys were great too. Frogmen with big bronze helmets and breathing apparatus

"Ya ha deedle deedle, bubba bubba deedle deedle dum."

Alxbates15 Dec 2006 11:41 a.m. PST

All day long I'd diddy diddy dum, If I were a fish-y MAN!

I like RAFM's Deep Ones, and I like Grenadier's even better.

Skrapwelder,

Actually, the Minifig Swamp Lords were designed so that their heads were Manta Ray-like in appearance and they had a pointy tail as well adding to that feel. They are still some of my all time fantasy figure favorites!

All Time Great Fishman Army is still Tom Loback's original 'DragonTooth' line. I heard a rumour someone had aquired the rights, but no news since then…
his SharkMen were amazing!

Lately, I've been using the original Void Araktons, myself:
although not Fish-ey, exactly, they do make excellent Crab-People
( Crab-People! Crab-People!!! )

ScienceTeacher15 Dec 2006 1:54 p.m. PST

and here I thought you were all talking about.

If I were a fishman………. blub, blub, blub………

If you have not heard this CD, it is a MUST for Lovecraft & Cthulhu fans.
