Being a little short of cash for the moment and short of free time, does anyone know where I can download some aircraft and missile markers that I can print off to use them in a modern naval game. Thanks in advance, Ian |

I don't have any aircraft done, but I made up a few missiles for a Shipwreck game that I could send to you or post somewhere. Were you looking for specific missiles or something more generic? If I remember correctly I made a harpoon, standard and a handful of soviet missiles, maybe a couple more. |

Similar to Thomas, I made up a sheet of markers using the paintbox-like function of Cyberboard. Mine were little images of the missiles flying over the sea. To be honest I am not sure which PC they are on, but I can have a look for them. If I can find them, I'll let you know. |

This site has scans of counters from many wargames including SPI's Air War, which should fit your purposes well. link |

Try either the MSN or Yahoo group for Hunters in the Sky,or the Polaris Games yahoo group. Both have downloadable files with modern a/c counters. |

I found my source file and made a quick PDF export. I'm afraid I don't have time to do much more, but perhaps it'll be helpful anyway. PDF link This happens to be the counterset needed for the intro scenario in Shipwreck (A Sovremenny and Slava against a Ticonderoga and Charles F. Adams). Because I'm a teensy bit obsessive, I went out and researched the missiles they all used and drew them to-scale with each other. No real point, other than an interesting visual reminder that soviet ships can throw huge waves of supersonic Volskwagon-sized bundles of death. :-) I don't think the torpedoes are to-scale with the missiles though, and I wasn't able to find out what the E45-7A looked like. Anyway, maybe it'll be useful. |

Only a little obsessive, but they look great. Thanks again |

I found this thread when posting my own missile markers. You might be interested for modern land or air games so I thought I'd resurrect the thread; they're really quick and easy to make. TMP link
