I had Ann and Nancy Wilson. Lita Ford was sold out.

I had Iron Maiden all over the place and had a big Rodney Matthews painting of Elric.

Farah Fawcett.

I was the Farah era to but didn't get one as everyone else did. I actually had a poster from the Hobbit animation movie.

The grrrrreatest adventure is what lies ahead….

I think the one time I had a poster on my ceiling, it was a big cutaway diagram poster of an Me262.

Other than that, the ceiling was normally populated by model aircraft hung up with fishing line.

On the ceiling? probably some movie poster I guess. I did have a cool one of an Alien from aliens ripping through a wall, which when placed on the back of the door looked like it was bursting into the room.

Never had a poster on the ceiling. That would be crazy. On the walls, though:

There wouldn't have been any point putting a poster on the ceiling: the model aeroplanes hanging from it would have got in the way. And since I had the box room, the walls were mostly covered in shelves and cupboards. The one clear space was filled with the Ordnance Survey map of Roman Britain.

(I had a pretty large bedroom)

No posters on the ceiling. I had spikes on my ceiling. Seriously. Rolled up white paper spikes with blood red tips attached with tape in 1 foot increments to make my room look like a spiked dropped ceiling trap. The ceiling effect with a rotating red alarm light was striking.

My walls had black fabric Iron Maiden wall tapestries, Pink Floyd posters and fighter aircraft posters. I had some leftover young Madonna posters and a really old Star Wars poster I used for target practice.

A black light poster of Jimi Hendrix. Of course, I had no black light . . .

My dad spent a lot of time in my room.

Never hung anything on the ceiling, although in college my roommate did once. A huge poster of U2 in concert.

Predictably, it came loose and drifted down over him one night after we had gone to sleep. He woke up face-to-face with Bono. Hilarity ensued…

In High School, I had my girlfriend's cheerleader pictures blown up to poster size.

Before that posters were not real big in the early 1960s. I had a lot of sport's team pennants on the wall.

Never had anything on the ceiling.

On the walls – Sex Pistols, Clash, Siouxsie, Damned etc plus one of Pete Frames rock family trees, the punk one. Most of them were pictures cut out from the NME, Sounds and Smash Hits, don't think we had posters in those days.

On the wall: AC/DC – The Razors Edge. Best AC/DC album. Ever.

Nothing on the ceiling, but on the door I had 'The Host of Chaos' by Chris Achilleos.

None. It was absolutely packed with almost the whole Airfix line.

I had a Lita Ford (in the closet behind my clothes. Yes I know I was a coward). That kind of thing could have gotten me in bid trouble.

I had a walter payton, and a mike singletary at different times.

I had a Arizona Wranglers from the USFL when I was a young teen.

I also had a poster with various modern firearms on it that came with a book.

My reaction when I saw the title was the same as Tim's: I'd never hang a TMP poster from my ceiling – I like you guys.

On the walls, L.A. Rams, big #74 comming at you, and a poster size photo of US Marines hitting the beach on one of the Pacific Islands during WW2.

I used to have a black light poster of a guy with his head resting in his hands while leaning on a table… in each frame his head slowly oozed through his hands…

Plus other black light posters and Susan Anton.

I never hung anything on the ceiling. My walls were covered with comic book posters, though. I never graduated to pin-up girl stuff. On the walls, anyway… 8)=

Surfing stuff – my older brother had a blacklight poster that I would stare at when he wasn't there – remember something like a mountain peak.

Not much, really. Just some posters of wildlife – eagles and the like. Currently, I have assorted Discworld maps and replica Star Wars posters.

When my brother and I shared a room we had lots of posters of semi trucks.

In high school, when I had my own room, the walls were covered in Army recruiting posters and pictures of soldiers and equipment that I cut out of the Army Times and other magazines and papers. I also had one of those large army training aid posters of an exploded M16 rifle showing all its parts.

In my 20s it was all about Iron Maiden. The only poster of a girl I ever had was Traci Lords, she hung on the back of the door.

The walls were covered with similar magazine cut-outs (including but not limited to, Scorpions, Yes, Black Sabbath, VH, every band had it's own little section) I did have up some Boris posters and at one time the Greyhawk map of Oerth.
I also had a life size cut out of Elvira with Coors Lite on the back of the door.
I used my Ozzy tapestry as a window curtain.

Nothing on the ceiling. I had a Solar System poster on the wall, upon which I updated the number of each planet's moons when new ones were discovered.

On the ceiling I had a large poster of the the uprated USS Enterprise that was released as promotional material when Star Trek: The Motion Picture came out. Unfortunately a friend of mine decided to use it as target practice and threw darts at it, but I still have it somewhere. I also had a Star Wars poster on the ceiling. On the walls I had 3 posters from the Ralph Bakshi LOTR movie and some other Star Wars and Star Trek related stuff. One wall of my room was taken up by an "earthrise" wall paper mural.

Bonnie Raitt, and a movie theatre poster of the animated Lord of The Rings I won in a trivia contest. And the poster my dad made me that said "Teenagers, leave home now while you still know everything!"

KISS Destroyer for me also, I had aonther one that hadn them dressed like the spirit 76 guys, might have been Love Gun. I also had Cheryl Ladd and Cheryl Tiegs to round out the walls.

At various times, a six foot Megadeth Poster, a six foot Star Wars (New Hope) poster. I had a huge pair of Siouxie Sioux (from Siouxsie and the Banshees) eyes over my bed at one point. I also went through a phase of cutting out letters and running them over the walls and ceiling – Pixies lyrics usually.
In the 80's I had the obligatory Lamborghini Countach and Linda Lusardi (I always preferred her to Sam Fox) but they were on the walls. I remember at the time I also did a huge (8' x 8') map of the Basic D&D world (Grand Duchy of Karameikos etc etc).
