Can anyone tell me if there is a John Wayne figure availiable in 28mm or indeed a figure that looks like him? I have had a look around but can't seem to find one. Cheers Coldbitz |

There is one in the old glory range that is the splitting image. You will have to contact them to see what code it is in. |

Old Glory, in the Plains War series. I think he is in the Marshals pack. Look for the dude in the vest with the rifle over his shoulder. My friend has the movie poster. |

There is an even better one in the Cowboy Wars pack. Pack #1, I believe. That and the second pack are basically the characters from Rio Bravo, John Chance, Borachon, Colorado, and Stumpy. Sadly, Angie Dickinson didn't make it! |

Recommend using Shadowforge's Madame Orr
gorgeous, for Angie. |

I am aware of at least three: Rooster Cogburn ZCW-10 a.k.a. "Morrison" John Chance ZC-01 a.k.a. "Marion" Ringo Kid in the Warpaint set "Marshals,Sheriffs, and Lawmen" (difficult to see in the on-line picture) |

And if you order the Cowboy Wars pack you get James Cann as Mississippi! They also do figures from Silverado! |

Take a look at Artizan's Cowboy Posse 2. The feller with the ten gallon hat looks like the Duke in his early years. |

Cheers guys. I reckon it will have to be Westwind as Rio Bravo & El Dorado are my favourite westerns. I like the look of the Old Glory one too, very Duke like, just don't need the 14 other figures. |

If you're shopping for Cowboy Wars stuff, don't miss the two "Long Riders" packs. No Duke in them, but they are two of my favorites in the range. |

Does anyone do a John Wayne from She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, Rio grande, etc. The Cavalry Trilogy. Those would be cool, it seems we have too many Custer's and too few Captain Brittles'. |

How do West Wind compare with Foundry in size and heft? |
60th RAR | 17 Nov 2006 12:56 p.m. PST |
We mix Foundry and WW freely in our group. Very little difference IMO. |

Rooster Cogburn? Last year someone advertised a "green" Rooster Cogburn. Who is making this miniature please? Sorry if this is a repeat. Thanks, Bill |

The dismount from ZCW-01 is armed with a shotgun rather than a Winchester, so he's more Big Jake than John T. Both the Cowboy Wars are pretty good: the Warpaint one less so, and more unfortunately he's a tad short. |

Is the Knuckleduster range the one that has John Wayne listed as "The Duck"? If this is the one that I'm thinking of, it is a superb figure – best I've seen. |
