This yellow 1:18 Diecast Chevelle on sale caught my eye and I had to pick it up and Mad Max it. Here it is with the windshield replaced, a minigun added, and a quick coat of stealth black and weathering. picture picture I can think of a million reasons why not to do Car Wars or Dark Future in 1:18 scale but if you wanted to the vehicles are not too steep and I found a variety of $2-$3 a figure prices on limited articulation infantry figures in 1:18th such as the "Corp" figures made by Lanard. The guy in the photo is a BBI paratrooper but most of the 18th scale gi joe type dudes have a distinctly paramilitary/survivalist look and look pretty good with some paint touch ups. They seem ideal for a car crew, biker gang or boarding party. Thanks for looking at my between time period boredom induced project! |
