What do you reccomend for someone just starting out in 15mm WW1, in terms of quality and price. I will be using a homebrewed 1:1 scale rule set. Thank you for your help, Mike. |

try eureka figures.some fine models and the owner nic is top notch for service.the new serbs are nice and fill a definite need for ww1 gamers.can't wait to see nic's new stuff at historicon. |

Peter Pig, Irregular, and Minifigs - between those three lines and Eureka you can put together darned near any kind of force you like. Check out Peter Pig's rules, Square Bashing - they're really cool. |

Peter Pig and Minifigs, but Eureka looks as though they can give them a run for their money as they have their '300 Club', which is their custom-design figure service. Their WWI Turks and Aussies look great. Good luck, Mr. bunny. :-) |

I've got mixed forces of Minifigs and Peter Pig and like them both. The newly redone/recast Minifigs give Peter Pig a good run at detail and crispness. Peter Pig offers more poses per pack, but Minifigs work out to be cheaper (and come in bigger packs.) Peter Pig has a wider range (Belgians), but being here in the States I've found dealing with Tom Dye at Minifigs to be a pleasure, and he's been able to mix and match some special orders for me no problem at all. All that said, I do intend to order some Eureka figs one of these days as well as they cover periods/armies not covered by the other two, namely the Italians and Serbs. Bottom line: I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. :) |

I concur with everybody here. Depending on your theatre of operations the following companies make great figures: Eureka
Minifigs
Irregular
Peter Pig Combining them together can meet almost ANY need.

I have only seen pictures of Eureka but they look top notch. No exposure to Irregular. I hav PP and Minifigs, both are very good but, minifigs are slightly larger than PP. Not a big deal if size doesn't matter too much, just don't mix them up on the same base. |

Irregulars are nice, if a bit large; nut their really useful gun range is absolutely invaluable. esp. for less common armies and medium/heavy artillery. |

Friekorp/QRF make nice British/imperial and Turks for Mesoptamia. Does anyone except irregular make arabs suitable for the Lawrence campaigns? |

Why 15mm unless that is the scale in which you have invested your other gamming? I think that you will find that It miniatures has a complete 20mm WW1 line and you cand find many AFV's in that scale. |

Ok. Poses. Which of these manufacturers does multipose figure packs in 15mm? It has to be 15mm, that is what all of 10,000 other figures are from every other period and what all my terrain is for. I can paint 15's. I can't see anything smaller or do the detail on anything bigger. The rules we would be using are NO MANS LAND. |
