How much detail/complete do you want them??? Stick figure or more like dollies???? Reaper has 'heroic' and 'non-heroic'…as well as Advanced/stick figure and beginner wich are filled out more..etc? Also Bronze Ages Miniaturea has dollies in 28 and 54mm….

they're 33mm, the size that 28mm heroic is these days

They look as if they're far to much muscled to be of any real use. My tip would be to go with Ebob ("true" 28 mm though)or possibly Jeff Valents – haven't tried them so I wouldn't know.

they're really not that muscled, and Ebobs are terrible, they snap way too easily, and as i say, so few figures are true 28mm these days

Just got my hands on a few of each. I will tinker and see what I come up with.

Thanks.

Hi,

actually, there is another type of dolly which is available at Masquerade miniatures:

These are etched and less likely to snap. There is a demo over here:

P.s. I've cast my own dollies years ago but hardly use them. I find wire armatures easier to use. But that's just preference.

Never used dollies or skellies so I can't comment, I just make up my own armatures. I picked up a cheap corkboard wall thingy and have started to mark out the positions for the wires for different height sculpts (human, ogre, etc). All I need to do is pin the wire to the board and solder the joints, saves alot of time and measuring at the early stages.

Hi,
I made my own dollies.
In fact they are a "hybrid" between dollies and wire armatures, because torso, neck and head are made of white metall, while arms and legs are made of wire, that is directly cast into the torso. So I have the advantage of both, wire armature and dolly in one armature.
Here are some pictures:
