TMP link If anyone is interested in photos, I made some greens (while sitting on the bed) of the "Chig" helmet and weapon hand guard (similar to those in "Space: Above and Beyond". These should fit well with Eldar bodies and weapons. There is very little of the Tau head visible (it served more like an armature – to maintain overall shape). CC PS. If interested in the pics, email me: daniel DOT martinez1 AT sbcglobal DOT net |

I am trying to access my Displaced Miniatures account ( TMP link ) , but it has been a very long time and I forgot my password and even how to sign on to my account! As soon as that is straightened out, I will post photos there. CC |

Polynikes has graciously offered to help post the photos on his site. Please note that this is my very first attempt at sculpting something like this, so feel free to give me some pointers. My goal was to capture the general look of the Chig helmet and weapon shield, not to create an exact replica. From here I have no idea where to go with it. However, it was a fun thing to do while recovering at home. CC PS. I am not the best photographer either! |

I've updated my Blog with some stuff of my own now, so you'll have to scroll down a fair way to get to the Chigs. Alternatively, here's a direct link to them: link |

First off, that's a nice, smooth bit of work there, and the protrusions and indents are very symmetrical. Well done! I think the front of the helmet is supposed to come to a sharper point, IIRC. Less rounded. Could be wrong, though. |

Don't forget the thing that stick out of the chest plate. Nice work CC glad to see you put your lay up time to good use. And Polynikes you have a cool site! |

Nvdoyle, today I followed your suggestion and made it come to a sharper point. I will retake photos if possible. Bandit86, the Dark Eldar sprues come with lots of bits that could be used for that chest thingie. Thanks. CC |

All in all, I think that Alien Surfer has the right combination of components: link I will continue to work on the weapon guard a bit longer though. CC |

That was an (occasionally) great series! On Uk TV it kept changing to completely different graveyard scheduling every week but I pursued it with vigour
"There is no Chiggy Von Richtofen!" |
