I'm looking for big bugs in 15mm. Something that looks like a SST Warrior or could stand in for Terranids. Big man-eating bugs in 15mm.

Suggestions?

Try the Cliff Mites from Mongoose. They are small warrior-like bugs in 28mm, but should fill the bill for large bugs in 15mm.

I believe GZG's 25mm bugs might do the trick. Also Heresy's Hellmites.

The cliff mites are nice, if pricey ($2 each is a wee bit much for 15mm, in my mind). You might be able to find something in the D&D Minis or Star Wars Minis lines -- giant spiders or something.

Didn't GZG offer some 'buggys' that could pass for SSTish in smaller scale?? I know I got some from them at one time and still have them…but don't remember the names…

The Heresy 'waspquitos' are good for flyers in small scale too!

Peter Pig Phugs (though they are more crab like)

I use Pendraken's 10mm bugs. They work perfect for SST. I then use GZG 15mm NIS figs for my troopers. link

I cant recommend the pendraken bugs unless you are looking for something that resembles a parrot.
A friend of mine bought some and was rather dissappointed with the shape. For that scale it would almost be worth your while to twist up some green stuff and make your own castings.

I'm planning on picking up some of the cheap plastic Halloween spiders and snipping off half their legs. Then I'll test out squishing their heated heads and Abdomens with a pair of pliers.

I also have the Mongoose cliffmites and Heresy Hellmites. I'll be using a Hellmite as a Brain Bug in 15mm.

What about the chariot bugs that come with the brain bug? link

What about insect, spider and scorpion "swarms" from fantasy lines?

might be a place to start looking for cheapie insect swarms.

Hi Guys,

I have photos of the D&D Kruthik Hatchling here:

It would probably work for 15mm…
