Thanks for that Olivier, looked like it was a good game. I've often thought of substituting the Stagecoach for a train…. now if only I could get a Western train set like that I would be well away!!!!!!!! Any ideas?

Simon,

That set is easy to come by. Fast Trak Western Express is the best way to find it on Google or E bay. There are alway s a few of them up for sale. I've picked up two and they were both und $15 USD all told.

Got a little ahead of myself. Here's one on E-bay

auction

Thanks Skrapwelder – not sure if shipping to the U.K. would make it viable though. Looked on our eBay for something similar but difficult to judge scale on most of them, plenty of Christmas Trains……….but who wants snow on their trains?!!!!!!!!!

I've seen at least one for sale from an UK ebay-seller, (not the exact same but theres a heap of a heap of different sets patriot express, gold rush express) and i've seen it at TRU here in sweden as well, altho at 45£+ i just decided i wanted something else, should be cheaper i UK tho..

Oh, and keep a mini of your prefered scale in your pocket at all times, it will pay off:)

If you are in the US, Toys R Us sells these sets for about $10. USD I though the brand name was Fast Lane. It's a cheap plastic train that requires repainting. I've got one all painted, and it looks great, I just need to finish painting the track.

I bought two sets to give me an extra passenger car and a choice of two engines.

I just picked one up on E-bay for $8.99.

Sgt. Perry- Is the depot in this set compatible with 25-28mm figures?

Looking forward to trying this scenario in my next league.

I just saw that the Walgreens next to where I work has these toy trains as part of their X-mas set up. They at least had 8 of them.
