Does anyone have any information on the flag(s) issued to the troops of this Confederation of the Rhine Duchy? Any help will be much appreciated. |

I asked about this ages ago on Dom Goh's forum. The only evidence apparently is that it was red – at least the bit nearest the pole anyway, as that was all that survived. A design including a wheel could well have been appropriate, possibly with an eagle too. Warflag has some flags of other north German cities from earlier, in the 18th century, which might do for inspiration. S. |
