Miniature Wargames magazine have (belatedly) published my review of Bob Black's THE SAMOGITIANS, THE SWORD BROTHERS & THE BATTLE OF SAULE this month, if anyone is interested.

I am. Did you like it?

How cheap are you? buy the mag!

It's good overall but pricey and I had some quibbles and queries.

I know it's a bit late but I'm also interested in the review. I wrote the Samogitian, Sword Brothers and the Battle of Saule book. Regrettably I didn't see the review – not because I'm cheap but because I don't buy MW these days. I've known Iain since he took over Army & Navy Modelworld back in the 80s and have written many pieces for him. However these days I seldom buy the magazine, so missed your comments.

I also have some quibbles and doubts –and I know of at least one error. I have more information on the subject now but if I waited until I had everything I'd never publish.

Pricey – what price knowledge. Jan Zizka of Trocnov gave an eye for the knowledge that would save his people and bring in the Reformation. The book is not in the same class of course, but compared to the price of a magazine doesn't seem expensive to me.
However, I am biased.
Recently I've received comments from 2 Samogitians – open to hearing yours.
