Reader LARRY asks me to pass along this question -

"I want to purchase some 1999 figures [creepy & unique]
but DO NOT want to order from New Wave!!! Does anyone know any other place [preferably in USA] that offers them???"

I got some from Brookhurst in CA. Online, you can get them from albinorhino.com or fantization.com.

I don't know if you live near pittsburgh but if you do try the Phantom of the Attic. They have a bunch of 1999 figs in the bargain bin.

From the looks of the figure in the photo, I'd say you'd find them in an, uh, "alternative entertainment" shop, packaged in a plain brown wrapper.

Honestly, that figure borders on the offensive. Clothed, yes, but the style and pose seem... abusive. (Maybe it's the blindfold...)

Just an observation.

Got some from Brookhurst. Good figures, but a little work during assembly required.

Yeah, I know... not my kind of thing, I guess.

Cell was at Gencon last year. I suspect they will be again. They're mighty friendly and their English is quite good.
