A few years back (2-3?) there was a selection of fairly generic HOTT armies (human, orc, elven and dwarf as I recall) available on the web. They were scaled to 15mm, were in color and were freebies. Does anyone know where these went? My twelve-year-old daughter is interested in HOTT, having read the rules cover to cover at least twice recently. TIA!

Would this be of any help:

Cardboard Fighters seem to be off the net.

There may be some "test flats" in the file library of the HOTT Yahoo group, as well as some "mostly compatible" flats (ie. also 40mm wide) in the main Warmaster Yahoo group library.

Bill Bennett used to have some on his website, but it seems to have gone away now. Perhaps Bill has moved his site elsewhere, but if he has I can't find it.

Gungnir, thanks for the suggestion, but Junio Generals is already one of my favorite web sites :) Alan, you may have hit the nail on the head :(

Until recently they were available at paperworlds.com in the downloads section. I downloaded them myself for similar use about 6 months back.

Surely your daughter has enough figures for a My Little Pony army already?

RWS, she never got into My Little Pony (thank God!) :) I found the ones I was looking for on Paperworlds.com, but Mike Snorben's suggestion is an excellent one as well.

This is a message from the future.

In 2009, you will have to search high and low to find these figures… The really good ones will be all but gone… but thanks to the internet archive project

You can get these awesome paper armies still!

It took me the better part of a week to find them again, and they are still great.

The original daughter is 28 or 29 now.

I assume she paints her own figures now.
