Hello

Does anyone know where I can get hold of any 15mm scale mammoths?? I have seen the one on 15mm.co.uk and am not too impressed with the sculpt (its possibly just a dodgy paint job…) and the one that Black Raven Foundry make which is fantastic but expensive!

I am putting together a 15mm scale barbarian army and need some more big guys! I currently have hordes of infantry and cavalry as well as a giant (old Bob Olley AD&D mountain giant from Ral Partha)

Future plans include ogres, bears and even a few greater barbarian warpers (like slaine…) Any suggestions would be most welcome!

If anyones seen any 15mm scale wooly mammoths I would be most interested too as they would be perfect for towing my wartowers!

I think MOngoose has one, as part of their 15mm fantasy line, and Irregular probably do one too.

I have the blak raven foundry one (actually I have two) and really do like them.

I have one of the Mongoose ones and I thought it was a sized ok except fo the howdah. It was small. Painted up quickly and looks good next to my other 15mm stuff.

Not my scale, but our members have also recommended the Eureka/Tusk miniatures.

The Black Raven Foundry one is the best 15mm mammoth I have seen – I have two and have been very happy that I got them over any others I have seen since. They are larger, and more imposing by far. And a good value based on that size.

I don't recall who made it (might have been Black Raven), but David has a really nice mammoth in his Dark Pride leonine army. He'll see this at some point and comment, I'm sure.

Grenadier had a really nice one in their 15mm warlords range. Might find one on ebay sometime.

MY Miniatures has one.

I've added wooly mammoth, wooly rhino, and saber tooth tiger to Eurekas 300 club. Please jump on.

Oh. Sorry. Yes, they'll be 15mm if ever they get enough interest.

The BRF mammoth is great and I would say worth every penny.
