I'm looking for some 15mm figures representing medieval civilians, specifically middle and upper class types (there seem to be plenty of peasants). I'd like both mounted and on foot, to represent such things as merchants, town leaders, and the like. I'm especially interested in a heads up on any suitable female figures, suitable for noblewomen and their ladies in waiting, nuns, and the like. Any suggestions?

Irregular has nice ones of different periods.

GFI/Minifigs pack 15160001 ($7.95 plus shipping) is what you want!

It contains Ladies in waiting, mounted and dismounted versions of "Guenivere", people carrying bags, kids, farmers using scythes, etc.

I have the Minifigs pack that Dye4minis mentions, it has a good mix of figures including upper class types.

Tom,
Thanks for the info, I was on the GFI web page last night and didn't see that one! I'll be calling later today to give CC info, and will ADD that pack to my order.

Thanks, Al and Mirosav! I'm confident that this pack will fulfil your needs! They are a blast to paint, too!

PETER PIG does C20th French Nuns- like in LONGEST DAY- any good?

CooperSteve,
They might, given conservatism in religious dress. Do you recall in what range those figures are listed, I can't say that I've ever noticed them? Thanks for the heads up.

Tabletopwarrior,
I combed both the silver Eagle AND Irregular web pages last night, but didn't see any listings that suggested specifically middle to upper class civilians, although "Nils Shankspenny" looks like he might make a decent modest merchant. Did I miss something else?

WWII range, I think.

One thing I'm likely to keep sculpting for FALCON is camp vignettes etc for all sorts of periods… so I may get round to what you are after… any of FALCONs dark age figs any good?

I'll check the Falcon/Quartermaster page again, but my recollection is that all of the "Civilians and Useful Bits" figures are more or less in the peasant/villager category. Again, thanks for the heads up on the French nuns!

Heroic Townsfolk is a Wildspire campaign. It proposes 18 miniatures of fantasy villagers in 28mm. The full set costs only $ 15 in Early Bird
