Chemical, biological and atomic weapons?

Oh, you didn't mean interesting as in the ancient Chinese curse, then?

Never mind the above suggestions. Move along. Nothing to see here.

According to this, there is already plenty to make Pellucidar exciting:

However, one can never have too much excitement, right?

A civilized ape kingdom, no AK 47s.

I ran a lost world RPG with Fudge. The world was loosely based on Pellucidar. Intelligent reptiles, corsair degenerates, and a Roman empire built by the lost legion.

The characters had the fun of experiencing slavery, arena combat, and the eventual downfall of that evil empire. Lots of fun.

You could pepper Pellucidar with any civilization that mysteriously vanished. They do not all have to go through caves or polar openings. You can have some appear through any of the "devil's triangles" around the world… strangely teleported to the primitive world of eternal daylight.

I even had the Roanoke colonists there.

Idea rip-off from Hollow Earth Expedition RPG…

I'm thinking of sending some modern humans through the Burmuda Triangle to tangle with some nazis in 1940.
