Hi Everyone, I updated my 6mm-Minis blog after enjoying some gaming with the local MWSS wargaming club yesterday. I included lots of photos from a FOW and SCW (Spanish Civil War) games from yesterday. 6mm-minis.blogspot.com Enjoy! Positive feedback, constructive criticism and all compliments welcome! Like all the gaming stuff, enjoy seeing the pictures of real games put on by real people. But
. I don't enjoy seeing real politics mixed in with my hobby. To be honest tubthumping and pushing values (of any sort) isn't right for me on a hobby site.It should be kept apart and be there for those that want to find it. Still like the SCW articles and pictures though. And I really like Belgium and Belgians too and especially their sense of humour and I am sure many of my friends there would chuckle at how they are viewed on here. Cheers, Graham |

Hi Graham, Fair enough. I avoid the politics stuff. but I'm as human as the next guy and when you see great injustices, it's hard not to succumb at times. I'm working on some 6mm city pieces at the moment. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

I agree with the above Maksim-can you seperate out the political stuff and the wargsming blog? it just puts me off the great hobby content. I liked the SCW content-great to see photos of actual games! |

Hi Jimbo, I'll do my best. It's tough when it's your former neighbors and long-time friends being bombed and dismissed in the media. I'm not as angry about it as I was. I'm focussing on the hobby content at the moment. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |

Maksim Sure, I understand. However, political blogs are a dime a dozen, but good wargaming blogs are in short suply! |

Is wargaming and extension of political gaming by other means? Sorry, the Great Captain lived before Herr Clausewitz (but he was Machiavelli's contemporary!) Cheers to all GC |

You've done a fine job, Maksim. The gaming pics are great, and the pics of your family and friends is a neat touch. "Two thumbs up"! :-) |

Hi Saginaw, Thanks! I'm doing my best to be one of the premier gaming blogs on the net. I eventually want to start a "6mm Consumer Affairs" web site with reviews of 6mm miniature lines. I don't have the web skills for it yet. I tried one of the free webs ites awhile back and learned that I need more computer / site design skills before I'm ready. I have been collecting pictures for years though. I have lots of volunteers willing and ready to help as well. Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. |
