Does anyone make either of these? Old Glory has mounted Presidials, and I seem to remember someone doing Zorro in 28mm, but I can't find it. Thanks in advance!

To partially answer my own question, I found this 32mm Zorro but it's probably too big, and Zorro really needs to be fencing, or at least holding a blade. link

The London War Room has some dismounted Spanish cav for service in Mexico, but they may be a little earlier than you are looking for.

This is a valuable piece which no one has come up with yet from previous threads. Yes, we need a Zorro, mtd and dismounted. Father and son? Girlfriend with a cellphone in hand? Hint, hint!!!

I am doing some dismounted Dragoons for the Alamo period, I guess I could do some Presidial heads to go with them.

If you are interested in getting them made by using the Eureka Miniatures 100 club i will put my "vote" in for them.
I would be very keen to see a Zorro range for use with Eurkea's "…And One For All" set of rules.

Malamute, who are you sculpting this figure for? Is it for an extant range?

malamute05 Aug 2006 4:47 a.m. PST

Abelp01 – The figures are for my own use and anyone that may want some! I have a friend who is casting them up for me. If you look at the other figures in the gallery you will see I am doing some Alamo figures including more dismounted dragoons, civilians, DAvy Crockett etc.

I would love to do Zorro, and may well do so, but time to do all these figures is a problem for me. I can't sculpt quick enough!

mjkerner05 Aug 2006 7:24 a.m. PST

Malamute…Please, please do! I really like your Alamo figures, so put me on your list of customers, please. Oh, by the way, I must disclose the fact that I hate you, because you can just sculpt figures as you need them. ;-)

malamute05 Aug 2006 7:32 a.m. PST

Mjkerner, I am sorry you hate me! Hopefully Davy Crockett will be cast up later this month along with Dr Who!!?

I hate myself too, as my list of figures to do is too long and I can't sculpt quick enough!

Drop me an email at nfutter@milestoneresidential.com and I'll add your name to my address book so I can let you know when they are ready.

All this talk of Zorro has inspired me I'll see what I can do!

mjkerner05 Aug 2006 8:12 a.m. PST

Malamute: But I am quick to forgive, which I did just now, so everything is fine. In fact, I think you're my new best friend! I'll email you. Thanks!

P.S. Love the Davey!

What fantastic figures!

edinburghowl05 Aug 2006 10:23 a.m. PST

Malamute – nice figures. I'd certainly purchase Zorro and any other Mexican types should you produce them commercially.

malamute06 Aug 2006 5:24 a.m. PST

Edinboroughhowl – Drop me a line at the above Email address and I'll add youto my address book and advise when they are ready. Crockett should be end of August.
