Hi, In the style of politicians I'm going to answer a question you didn't ask. I don't know if you know the Wargames Holiday Centre. Its located in Scarborough (which as you probably know is in North East Yorkshire). They have a huge collection of 28mm Napoleonics, as well as 20mm WW2 and others. Their table is 28 feet long by 8 feet wide with two 'back tables' of 28 feet by 5 feet. They run weekend, four day and week long games. The longer games are campaign games. If you need a wargaming fix this is the place. The centre is run by Gerry who can be reached on the 'Grand_Manner' yahoo group. You might even get some contacts to play with in Yorkshire. Good hunting Neil |

thanks i'll check that out, but i still think that putting a tournament on more centrally located would be good. if we could get a campaign going then you could just assign a command to someone as they walk through the door. "you divisional commander to X" "you corps commander to Y" etc. this way you could have a strong backbone of CinC's and just fit in everyone else around it. ill check out scarborough patrice |
