Looking for 3 groups of 2-4 players willing to try out a tongue-in-cheek ruleset I have developed for Calvin & Hobbes' "Calvinball."

Using as my base a ruleset posted here on TMP (I want to give credit to the originator of that if they can raise their hand, I cannot find the post/link now…), I changed it around, added in elements that those familiar with the strip will recognize (Calvin's Red Wagon, Rules Changes, The Babysitter Flag, The Cape of Captain Stupendous, etc.), and made it a little more confrontational without being overly violent.

Played on a 4x4 table with 25-28mm minis representing the players and some counters you can make for playtesting. Email me if interested at mardaddy601(at)yahoo(dot)com

Sounds great and quit humorous at the same time . . .

Is this a spoof for 'Bloodbow[e]l'?

Any-way, good luck on your experiment, could only wish the best for you . . .

I'd definately be up for testing it.

I posted my take on a Calvinball game a couple weeks ago on this thread:

I don't know that I'd call it a "ruleset", though – more like "half an hour of banging away at the keyboard." Heh!

I like your ideas, Mardaddy, and I'll e-mail you for the rules you've come up with.
