Good looking easy rules. What about the flame throwers? |

Really, I do most of my roleplaying and skirmish gaming in 54mm, and that means using a lot of army men. I play d20 Blood on the Rhine (Pinnacle) with WWII Army men and monsters, and play Gamma Knights with these guys tinyurl.com/ev9sa and some 54mm aliens I have. (sorry, no link). Also, I am starting a rather ambitious project, whereby I will be doing some fairly large scale Inquisitor games, using (along with the GW figures as commanders) these guys: tinyurl.com/jmm9k the blue ones as planetary defense forces and the gray ones as Adeptus Arbites respectively. Really, if there's a game you want to get into for cheap, you can probably find some cheap army men to help you do it. |

Cool rules. Two questions. Some things need three hits to be damaged (tanks and high blocks for instance). Is that cumulative — do you track damage? Or is it always the same? And shouldn't Mortars have some penalty against tanks? |

At the time I wrote it we didn't have any flamethrower-carrying figures. I'll have to see if I can come up with rules for them. In the mean time, you could give them a 6" range, and 6d6 damage. They would hit everything within their 6" range in the direction of fire. I'm not sure if they should be allowed to damage tanks or not
I'll have to think about it. donrice
no, I don't track damage. If you don't score the required 3 hits there is no effect. Perhaps not very realistic, but it's quicker that way. As to mortars, I left it the same for all weapons for simplicity. But if you want you could say they need four hits instead of three to destroy a tank. |
