I shiver just thinking of the awful mental picture . . . However, if anyone wants to try their hand at some conversions to Cro-Magnons (and other early Homo Sapiens), here are some suggestions. Foundry (these might be good size counterparts to the Pulp Figures Neanderthals): Pack Pict1 in link Packs AG17 and AG18 in link Black Tree (seem a bit taller than the Foundry's mentioned above – yet they seem compatible with Copplestone Castings' cavemen and even Reaper's cavemen): Packs IA 1054, IA 1055 and IA 1099 (AB 1033 is actually a better deal) in link Packs IA 1019, IA 1028 and IA 1293 (AB 1031 is actually a better deal) in link Though not naked (but dressed in skins), the Black Tree pack IA 1196 could be used as early "Out of Africa" Sapiens: link I am sure there are more options out there that could be included in this list. Any other suggestions? CC link |

And think of all the possible applications for cavemen: • As Conventional Cavemen: cavemen types of actual prehistoric times. • As Hollywood Cavemen: cavemen vs. dinosaurs, as in the old movies • As Lost World/Time Travel Cavemen: really modern humans meet cavemen like those in Burroughs' "Land That Time Forgot" and the "Pellucidar" series, P.J. Farmer's "Time's Last Gift" and many others. These could include space travelers meeting primitive natives on other worlds, or even Bronze Age warriors meeting Stone Age savages. • As Fantastic Cavemen: cavemen as "barbarians" in fantasy settings. • As Post-Apocalyptic Cavemen: as humans revert to extreme barbarism on a post-apocalyptic Earth. And I am sure there are many other Prehistoric, Pulp, Fantasy and SciFi settings that I may not have even considered, though many of these settings tend to blend in together. Basically, the possibilities are endless. CC |

Foundry has some nude Germans in their ancients range I believe. Also Foundry, Old Glory and Black Tree have nude Celts with moustaches. |
