Look to the GW archive, they may still have the old BloodBowl star players based of Franky and the Wolfman. I have one of each but I can't remember what their names were. |

I can recommend the Westwind Productions ones sold by Old Glory. Also Chiltern MIniatures do one: link |

Do you want your Frank to look like Karloff? If so, the Graven Images one is the best look-alike, but it's part of their 36-40mm ranges. Foundry also produced a couple of Karloff-alikes as promotional models, as well as The Bride Of F., which are to 28mm-ish scale. They turn up on eBay from time to time. The GW Blood Bowl Frank has the right flat-topped appearnce, but you'll have to remove bits of American Football armour. And he seems to be OOP (at least, the "Classic Players" section of the UK webstore was empty when I looked). For generic Igors (a la Discworld), try GW Mordheim dregs. There's an old WHQ figure that looks right too. I can't think of any particularly good look-alikes for Lugosi's character from "Son of F." and "Ghost of F." (remember, the lab assistant in the 1931 F. was called "Fritz"). Can't think of any good Marty Feldman look-alikes, either, for that matter. Other generic Igors can come from the West Wind Vampire Wars range (the Evil Henchmen pack), as can a Transylvanian mob and other useful stuff. Old Glory sells them in the US (hence Nightsky Wildfire's links above). |

I am EXTREMELY PICKY about quality. I have the reaper undertaker and giant hunchback, the mordheim dregs. The reaper giant hunchback is nearly ogre sized — as big as Frankenstein himself. Both great figs. The Mordheim dregs are great and get my second pick for an Igor. But my first choice is this: link Hunchback ( mem DEAL-0113 ) from Mega Miniatures. This guy is from the old Metal Magic line (sculpted by Joseph Ochman, I think). While not all of the MM scults are good, this one is awesome. I'm just about to paint him up for my Mordheim undead band as a dreg. He fits PERFECTLY scale wise with the other Mordheim figs. He's got a set of keys on his belt. I converted him to be holding a meat cleaver in his right hand but I'm almost sorry I did — I love how he's wrining his hands. He's only a buck but the quality is second to none. If it were me I'd go with the Reaper flesh golem for the monster. |

You could also try the Black Tree Design Frankenstein; link More of the Movie monster than the book. For a book one, I'd go for the Ral Partha Adam figure from their Raveloft line, if it's still available

What about equipment for Frankenstein's laboratory? Any good pieces out there that can be cobbled together for a lab? Any one find some good "junk" to model into the crazy machinery from the old pulp horror movies? |

I have one you can have, it is the Frothers one, I will pop it in the post |

Ral Partha did an excellent Frankenstein lab including the scientist himself, the monster as well as the proverbial henchman. It is a boxed set in the Ravenloft range, and it turns up on ebay once in a while. Try looking for "Mordenheim". RAFM also has a mad scientist including equipment and servant in their CoC range. |
