I can see why these wagamephs gave you flashbacks. |

Yes. The similarity was uncanny. But I still want to know if the "Waggamaephs" were something inspired by stories I was not aware of. CC |

seriously
CC you need to cut back on the number of links you use
3 links to essentially the same picture
then a link to a TMP thread which then links back to this thread
I'm in some kind of nightmarish moebius internet loop and I'm just not sober enough for any flavour of quantum

MacHeath, Thanks for the links. I wasn't sure if there was a backgrounder on them. Anevilgiraffe, LOL. Yes. No need to cut back on the sauce. They are the same packs, but from different distributors, just in case someone preferred to order from one over the others. CC |

"Rat Monster"? No no. The term is "Rat Creature", as in "Stupid, stupid Rat Creatures!" I like the Waggamaephs. May havve to buy some

LOL, I'm still waiting for the video to finish downloading. But I can tell you for sure it isn't the inspiration. I made them up back when I was in high school, sometime around the early 80s. They were a home brewed first edition D&D monster. The distinguishing feature for them was high speed and a high attack rate. I gave them 1 attack per segment which under first edition rules, this made them about 5 times as fast as a high level fighter. Then I forbade them specified shots. With a massive attack rate and little chance to get a one shot kill on a serious oponent they became the kobald cleaning machines of my campaign. We're hoping to release a free PDF version of a Waggamaeph monster under the 3.5 rules of the OGL here shortly. I gave an artist instructions to ink up an obnoxious little furball with eyes and limbs barely visible beneath all the fur. The original instructions included a statement to the effect that these were NOT supposed to be cute. The artist seems to have over-ruled me on that one, as has the sculptor, Cindy Dukino. BTW: There is a new pack of Waggamaephs on its way to Majestick Moldmaking right now, and another slowly taking form as well. |

Brimshack, Thanks for the excellent news! I actually like the looks of them and will add them to the list of cute minis to entice my wife to paint and game minis. The moment the 2 upcoming packs are released, I will order all three. Thanks again. CC BTW, what did you think of the video? |
