These minis are great. I actually grew up with some of these folks in my early hood years(70s) growing up in Manhattan (uptown112st/eastside). It is not easy being a geek in the hood. Even I had a Fro back then (lucky for me I burned all the photos) :) |

Patules, Very nice! They look like they would work together very well. Thanks. PapaSync, LOL. I burned all of mine too. Unfortunately, my wife got a bunch more from my sister. Yikes! CC |

Grenadier did a pack of "Voodoo Boy" gangers in their Cyberpunk line years ago: picture Long OOP, but they turn up surprisingly often on Ebay. They are also large minis, very compatible with modern 28mm minis. |

They are also large minis, very compatible with modern 28mm minis. I can definitely second that- the one in the center of the picture is a squad leader in my near/dark-future street gang army (as well as having originally done duty for a few years as my PC in a Cyberpunk game), and even compared to the plastic Catachans serving as elite cannon fodder in the army, he still fits, and in fact stands a shade taller than them. Believably so, mind you- but, even so, in scale, he's probably a good 6' 8" or 6' 9", and I haven't even ground off his base and stuck'im on a slotta yet. - Monk |

Sounds like Obelisk has a nice range of "Gangstars" ("Las Chicas" and "Da Dowgs"). Any idea if it is compatible to the EM4 Thugz? obeliskminiatures.com CC |

Now that I've sold my EM-4 troopers I no longer need to get ghetto personalities, etc.. However, I recently got a chance to see a few of the EM-4 Thugz figures "in the flesh" (unpainted) and, I must say, they are very nice sculps! For what it's worth, if I was still going with this urban idea, I would have definitely gotten one of each. CC |
