I just got my latest order from Dicount Hobby, including the NEW Traveller/Mega-Minis Beowulf Ship!

When I saw the image originally on web, I thought it looked very much like earlier versions available a decade? or so back, that I already had and the $11.99 USD price for ONE sorta put me off…but I decided to take a chance and get one anyway…(along with a regular order).

WOW! I've compared the two ships and not only is the NEW version much larger and 'cleaner'…but the details are much 'crisper' (IMHO)…and a worthy addition to my SF 'fleet'.

JD ALWAYS has done 'right' by me in all my orders placed thru him…but I gotta admit…this new TRAVELLER series of ships (and figures too, apparently)…looks like it's going to knock some socks off! The Droyne are next in March with the Scout Ship in April and the sets/ships are running at about $11.99 USD each ship/set…which is very affordable for the detail/quality.

Of course, there's still the .99 series and outgoing R-kiv stuff to 'bolster' my collection from time to time…but the new ships are DEFINATELY 'cool'

If you were holding off getting one/trying it out…don't wait any longer and grab at least one now! I can't wait for the scoutships myself!!!

Way to go, JD!!

Carpe' Diem,
Lt DWW

I was sorely tempted to pick up the Beowulf… But I resisted. I'vegot too many minis that I bought for "nostalgia's sake." I need to spend my money on minis I'll actually use!

That said, how about a photo when you get it painted?
