Something like this?

Pictors Studio25 Jan 2006 11:51 p.m. PST

Old Glory makes some neat ones. They have a really cool one in 40mm that would still work well in 28mm for a big one.

In 28mm

Reaper have 4 werewolves and 3 zombie werewolves. These are excellent figures.

Ironwind have 4 big werewolves with guns.

Westwind have a Big "Loup Garou" and 4 more man sized ones.

Black Tree Design have 2 man sized ones.

The old Werewolf Apocalypse range by Grenadier can still be picked up on ebay.

There is a WW2 SS werewolf from Brigade.

In 40mm but also usable for 28mm if you like your werewolves BIG, Monolith have a good selection in their Gotterdammerung range.

Similar to this scale Northstars Projekt X Weird War 2 range has some German werewolf figures.

I have all these figures and they mix well together. Really must put up a comparison page at some point.

Andy at Heresy has a really good looking Werewolf, I have not got it yet, but I plan on adding him to my Necromantic Blood Bowl team.

I'm currently putting together a werewolf pack myself so thanks for the links everyone, didn't know there were so many out there!
I can tell you that the West Wind dog by blows and cat by blows make passable werewolves too. They also do a set of hyena men that look as if they'd do for werewolves. The Loup Garou is an excellent figure, but needed a fair bit of green stuff to fill the gaps in the arm sockets and strenthen things up.
The Dark Heaven fantasy range has a superb female werewolf figure.

I found quite a few at Discount Hobby:

Search under "werewolf" or "lycan".

I'd recommend the ones from Reaper. I bought one not long ago (for a yet to be completed Bloodbowl team) and it's a 'proper' werewolf. Big, furry, slathering psycho looking angry puppy!

Some of reapers female werewolf figs are very akin to the wolves in 'Dog Soldiers' (great film!).

Cheers,
Iain.

And there's the Fenris of werewolves from Ilyad.

How do you do links in this place (I'm using Firefox)?

Snowcat26 Jan 2006 3:06 a.m. PST

Oh, it did it automatically…

No emoticons. Blah.

These are nice – from Iron Wind Metals – if you like your Werewolves armed ! (aka Underworld).
I keep meaning to get some in the hopes I'll one day get around to a Werewolves vs Vampires game.
Anyone out there got any of these ?

I'm not sure you can get those new IW modern armed wolves/vamps in the UK. Last time I checked, Ral Partha Europe hadn't picked them up, and the IW web shop won't ship to Europe. Anyone know better?

timlillig26 Jan 2006 8:18 a.m. PST

I think one of the factions for Hordes will have werewolf like creatures.

They are not out yet, I think.

Thomas Whitten26 Jan 2006 8:29 a.m. PST

I'd agree with Pictors. The Old Glory ones are rather nice, these are the West Wind Vampire wars. Their wolves are nice as well.

fictionfactorymodels26 Jan 2006 9:02 a.m. PST

Noble Knights Games in the US also stock the Iron Winds Werewolves and I believe they ship to Europe.

The models linked in this topic…well…they comfort me so.

I ordered the Iron Wind werewolves and vampires direct from the USA to the UK. No problems. The Carden Vampire is a sight to behold – we have five of them now and they do look pretty menacing up against the werewolves!

The Lost Soul26 Jan 2006 2:33 p.m. PST

You may find a couple at Dollar Tree. The others in the series are cartoonish and useless, but the werewolf is excellent (may be too big for you, though—stands 45mm or so, if I recall correctly).

Woodbinedrinker26 Jan 2006 3:31 p.m. PST

I don't think these will do, but they might fill out some ranks in a scenario.
Try the Bag o" Zombies bag of Zombie Dogs.

Hope this link to an image works:

Just over $10 USD and you get 100 plastic fiends.

Woodbinedrinker26 Jan 2006 3:33 p.m. PST

Damn! Anyway, they are made by Twilight Creations, just do a Google and you will see.

Thomas the Sailor28 Jan 2006 9:45 p.m. PST

Heroscape has some.
