Hey all you Urban Deadites. Come hang out at the Featherstone Library in Pescodside! [94, 16]

The stacks are chock full of wargaming literature, but feature a nice collection of momentos from the Donald's campaigns and collection. At least, in my mind, it does. Say Hi to Zonker if you see him!

OK, I'll be shambling over. Some zed's got into the building I was in and killed me. Anyone able to resus please tell me where to go?

I'm all the way over in Yagoton and dead. Maybe when I get a revive I can come that way! Sounds fun!

Right now, we're still trying to fight off the Zed attack in Yagoton…

How heavily barricaded is the Library? Will someone without free running be able to stop in and visit?

Rattlehead, where are you in yagoton? I've got a Necrotech scientist there, when I can eventually find a necro building I can get into I can hopefully start reviving.

Andy, can you recommend a revive site in Pescodside? I'm standing zombified in Sirl Plaza at the moment, (thanks to a no good PKer!) I'm Hans Schmeisser, or used to be til I was Zombied :(

Theres a dozen or so zombies in Sirl Plaza right now. Is that a revive point?

You can add me to the group. My zombie is not too far off, and crawling towards the library from Santlerville. You'll know him by his tattered red GW shirt, although I expect that will get my undead fanny kicked a bit more frequently.

Yeah- where in Yagoton can a dead be revived? I "live" in Urban Dead as Immelmann, but I'm currently dead thanks to z's breaking into the PD and killing me.
I'm sort of strolling towards the East now, but can turn back to Yagoton again…

I read somewhere that Sirl Plaza was a revive point, plus it's tagged as revive point, for what that's worth. Friends of featherstone eh? Is that the official TMP group then? If so, I'm in! ;)

Well, Zonker is already pretty active in the Sons of Treweeke, but Square MacDonald is now "Friends of the Featherstone Library" and is trying to cross Shearbank alive.

Meanwhile, I'm standing, dead, at Harkness Street in Yagoton. It's tagged as a Rev point, but there's 63 zeds and 47 dead bodies here, so I'm not too optimistic about getting rev'ed soon.

St. Swithun's Church in Yagoton is supposed to be a rev point too, but I've not heard whether it's clear of "bad" zeds yet.

Just prior to getting whacked, I went to the Whatmore Building in Yagoton and barricaded it to Very Strong +2, so it could still be entered without free running. I don't know what it's status is now though.

There's another NT building just one to the East of me. The Style Building. It's currently "Heavily Barricaded" and there's one zombie standing outside. There's also 38 bodies there.

If someone has a syringe and the skills to use it, just let me know where to meet you! Of course, somewhere near Harkness Street would be nice – I shamble quite slowly… :-/

Nice, you're close by to me – I've been playing hide and seek with the Zs in Starlingtown for a few days now, and I'm starting to lose the game (my last SH was broken into and I got infected – cured it, but I'm hurt pretty bad), so I'll show up in one form or another – Sharky Droog is my name.

Ok, I'm at Cator Drive (one south of Birfutt Walk. I went there because there's no zombies or dead bodies here. Just me!

Hey, is anyone gonna add "The Friends of the Featherstone Library" to the wiki?

Following standard procedures, you press the syringe into the back of the zombie's neck and pump the glittering serum into its brain and spinal cord.

There is a thin pneumatic hiss, and the zombie staggers forward, limbs shuddering, before slumping to the floor as if dead. Vic Rattlehead's skin shivers for a moment, and the contents of the syringe begin their slow, molecular work.

My scientist guy- Erwin Stiff, is holed up in St Matthew's Hospital in East Boundwood, 3 East and 5 North of Cator Drive.
There's a bunch of survivors (31) here (can't vouch for them though), the building is strongly barricaded and seems Zed free for now, If you're looking for a place to build APs.

(normally when I find a safe house like this, I log in next day to find that I've become overnight zombie fodder, d'oh)

RHG- if you're heading back to the Whatmore Buidling, let me know if it's still Zed free and accessible. I need to find an NT building I can access without free running. cheers ;)

(Maybe I should offer a free spug as a bounty each time I need a revive :))

@Spacelord – The NT building at [42,12] (the Style Building) is safe and still open to those without free-running. The Whatmore Building at [45,16] has 2 zeds inside and isn't barricaded, as I recall. This is as of this posting.

I'm currently holed up in the Style Building. I'm going to build some APs and head east toward the Featherstone Library in Pescodside.

I don't have any syringes and very little ammo right now, but if anyone nearby needs help, I can try, but can't do much…

I should mention, there are 2 zeds outside the Style building, but they seem to just be hanging out – maybe waiting for revives…

I've been waiting at Sirl Plaza for a day or more now, can't see a revive coming, so I'm going to hang out in front of Featherstone, if there's a lone zombie outside the clubhouse please don't kill him- it's me! Then again, I don't mind if you want some XPs, as long as i get a revive eventually ;)

How do you change affiliation?

Oh yeah, smellyguy is a zed, rivercityrogue is umm, recently dead and shambling to a library near you!

To change affiliation, click on your character's name, below the map, you'll get a character screen, click on edit profile- you can give a description for your character in human and zombie states, plus put them in a group.

The Library is empty and open. I was holed up there and was killed by a zed. Guess Johnny Messiah will try life as a zombie for a while.

rats, this always happens when I join a club, it gets broken into and filled with zombies…oh well. I'm going to hang around inside, the zombie hans schmeisser has nothing better to do. I've started a scientist character so that i can do some reviving of my own.

I discovered the same thing (that the library was wide open) so headed to the nearest barricaded building. It seems like the Friends of Featherstone Library contain both the living and the dead, so if we're going to hang out in the library, we'll have to figure out what that will look like.

It'll probably be best if we can get it barricaded, and keep any zombie TMPers outside til they're revivified, after all, we don't want it open to all and sundry ;)

This is easy for me to say, my characters are all level 1.

Chase those nasty zombies out of our library! Square MacDonald is level 34, he's on his way. He's got his Featherstone Library card, which is a license to check zombies out.

I think that we should start a new player group called the "Knights TeMPler" :)

"Friends of the Featherstone Library" is now recognized on the Urban Dead stats page with 11 members! To echo Rattlehead, it would be cool if some clever chap worked up a page for us on the wiki.

As far as the group being "co-dead", this zombie is willing to stay out of doors, and leave you breathers alone on the inside.

It will be tomorrow or the next day before I have a chance at that…Square is still in Pashenton, and I have been treking through zed territory and sleeping in wide open buildings. There's a fair chance I'll be shambling into Pescodside myself!

I shall make my way over once I take care of some rotting crawlers and stock up on ammo.

Immelmann is standing as a Zombie in Toombs Row again. He HATES zombies who enter the Library, and wishes that the "Friends of the Featherstone Library" zombies would help kill the other z's until they are resurrected…
