What sort of items and accesories would you say are a must to make a camp or village look like it is run by cannibals and/or headhunters?

Thanks.

Skulls or heads on sticks always look good. Maybe a bone refuse pile. Or the skin of a tatooed sailor streched out to dry? A pile of skulls around an idol of thier god or hut of worship.

A really BIG cooking pot! Of course, only Hollywood cannibals use pots, real cannibals use ovens, preferring their 'long pig' baked not boiled. And vegies on the side. There is a whole regime of special rules to go with homophagy, down to what parts to give the chief & what sore of toothpick to use.

A spare 'solar toupee' or other hat would also be a nice accessory to float in the pot.;-)

The best thing would be the pile of skulls that armorcast used to sell when they made their terrain. It was fantastic. Fortunately I grabbed a bunch a few years ago. We use them often.

Also a big pot would be a good thing as well as a spit over a fire pit of some sort.

A well stocked spice rack would not be out of place, either.

A few chopped off human hands and feet lieing around as offal. Hands and feet are too boney to make good eating.

OG Pirate range has a Cannibal village, look through that.

How about a drying rack with flayed skin?

Check out the African Explorer ranges of plastic 54mm toys. Marx does a re-issue you can get at Wal Mart with a big firepit and other camp items.

Here is my camp. No living quarters as such. There is a pen for keep future meals. A cooking stove on left, pot on right. Pots and skulls around.http://www-personal.umich.edu/~beattie/africa%20pics/26stock.jpeg

Bob, that camp looks FANTASTIC! Is that a portion of place mat you used for the palisade?

A little cook book, titled "To Serve Humanity."

Way cool Bob. The horror. The horror.

You just need a fat Marlon Brando now.

Really cool!

One of the most important things a cannibal village needs is shrunken heads on a pole or stick!!

I am going to make mine for not-quite-rehabilitated-cannibals, captured as slaves, but escaped and back at their old habits.

For those who want to game with figures of CIMARRONES, I have just added a photo to the Practical Soldier albums:

They are apparently Foundry "El Dorado Afro-Caribbean Renegades", not listed on the web site but are available if requested by phone.

Hope this helps.
