Interested in getting a troop of baboons . . .

I am only aware of the baboon in the Foundry Medjay/Egyptian pack, and that seems to have a harness.

Does anyone make baboons for 28mm?

Thanks.

There are some with weapons in the Glorantha/Hero Wars line from Lance & Laser, but that may not be what you're looking for…

Try Eureka

Try that discount site that offers .99 miniatures once a month or so (I can't recall the name). I saw some fairly nice baboons there at one time…

The Lanse and Laser ones are very fine. Otherwise the old Citadel ones are really good, I have a troop.

Citadel ones can be seen on gloarmy.free.fr (search under prax in races; mine are the ones with the tree), and the L&L ones are on link

Iw I was doing 25 MM I'd go Citadel; if 30mm L&L.

Check out 100 Kingdoms, they have a great pack of 2 large baboons charging.

Aren't we all, to some extent, baboons for 28mm? I know that my wife thinks I am!

I'll second Eureka. Quite good.

I see Eureka chimpanzees, but no baboons.

Any links to those baboons?

The London War Room has the 28mm scale sculpts (two poses, if I remember correctly) by Chris Ferree as part of his huge African Animals collection.

These are just the ticket, and well priced.

IIRC the old Chainmail (WOC) War ape was a baboon with armoured gauntlets.

I realise this thread was a long time ago, but after doing a search for 28mm baboons on google this seems the best bet. London War room seems to be out of buisness and I can't find any site for 100 kingdoms. I have the foundry Egyptian policeman and a baboon from reaper, but has anyone got anymore recent miniature baboon sitings? Any help is much appreciated :)

I'd forgotten those, very nice! Thanks for the reminder Colin.
