To all you FDM printer folks here….how close are FDM printers to printing good quality 28mm minis?

I will not dabble in a resin printer for all the toxicity and clean up, but would with FDM, but those damn print lines….

Getting better all the time. I have one and am looking at buying another

use a .2mm nozzle with a .05 – .08mm layer height. in fact, Fat Dragon has an excellent list of settings on his site

Bambu Labs makes an excellent entry level FDM printer – the A1 and A1 mini. They'r eliterally plug and play. I highly recommend them

It's possible, and it depends on how picky you are, but it's not easy and it's not great, IMO. However, I recently got a Bambu Lab P2S and it has not stopped printing since I got it, tons of other stuff you can print that is more forgiving than a 28mm figure.

My favorite: these What a Cowboy! dashboards: link

They are getting better. I have printed some good 28mm sized figs. I still think that resin is better for small items.
