Gunfighter who hadn't shaved in a couple of days.

I just mix a tiny bit of black in the flesh shade and darken the area where the stubble should be.

I use a tiny bit of Phthalo Blue with the flesh shade, about 1 part to 10, applied thinly to the jaw line, lower cheeks, and upper lip.

I do not paint such. I do apply a dark wash over the entire figure, and that is as far as I go. Cheers!

Yeah, I depend on the dip to darken things That sort of effect on a 28mm is beyond my skill.

Knuckleduster's sculpts are detailed far beyond my painting ability. I have been tempted to print some in a larger scale just to paint them as they deserve.

I think I've only tried it once; watering down a light grey paint to a very thin glaze and applying around the lower face.
