This impressed me.

How many boardgames, RPGs, etc come with miniatures?

Pretty common these days:

My son grew up playing Runequest and owns this, but we've never had time to play it.

Rising Sun and Blood Rage are two popular games that have some very good miniatures. The Rising Sun monsters are extremely challenging to paint.

BattleMasters was my personal favorite. I cannibalized 2+ copies for fantasy miniatures to play 2e BattleSystem (mass combat game based on 2e AD&D RPG, uses any figures you care to employ). There have been several boxed board games made from D&D, which come with superb miniatures to paint. I do not know the names of all of the games WotC produced. I think there were three of them. Cheers!

HeroQuest (2021) is probably a special case.

Horrified (there are several variations) has from 4 to 7 miniature "monsters" in each set.

There's Warcraft board game based on Pandemic with fantasy miniatures for the heroes and major villain. (Gaudy, overblown stuff, but IYLTSOT…)

Memoir ‘44, Battle Cry, Star Wars Battle of Hoth all include miniatures (BC is sadly OOP).

Risk these days, and especially the variants, have a ton of miniatures as the various "armies" in the games.

It's kind of a thing, especially with US produced games (unfairly called "Ameritrash"). European games tend to use generic wooden "meeples." But that's not really new; it's been going on for years.
