"Just when I thought I was out of it, they drag me back in!" I've purchased full 15mm British Napoleonic armies, painted and never played.
TWICE. But not again. All gone! Ditto 25mm Sassanid Persians. TWICE. But this time I sold everything in a box at a flea market. BUT…
I had full complete French and British FIW armies. I did St Foy and Plains of Abraham. Sold 90% of them, unit by unit. I still had some left over. I kept the Indians for skirmish gaming.
Then lately, I've bought a pack of Coureurs du Bois to augment what I hadn't sold. Why? They look sort of like early Pandours. They don't really…
I bought some more Indians. I kept Rangers and bought more for Alamance Creek and the Regulators. Had some leftover FIW Brits because the new Warrant hadn't affected the Colonies yet.
My new SYW frontier project could use some Hanoverians, and isn't the FIW uniform "the same"? Well, at least I didn't trust Tessio, Fredo or Hyman Roth. |
