link Iran is training women to use weapons and engage in urban warfare to defend against a possible US offensive. Images and footage circulated by Iranian media outlets show women, some in uniform, learning to handle assault rifles at open-air training centres in Tehran. Organisers say the courses cover urban defence, familiarisation with weapons from the Kalashnikov to the Dragunov sniper rifle, RPGs and shoulder-fired air-defence launchers, alongside rescue, firefighting and navigation modules designed specifically for women. Doc adds: "navigation modules designed specifically for women." Wow! Do we really want to go there? I once spent half an hour trying to explain to the lady driving us that if we are going NORTH then we will enter the SOUTH side of the big city. |

Wow, zip lining is "skills handy for warfare" per the caption. I hope our troops never have to face a horde of black hijabied women ziplining with one arm and firing their AK74s with the other (and probably ululating at the same time). |

Yes, I also noticed that! But what do we MAKE of this?!? They will be quite old now, but there are Iranian women who remember being free to dress as they please. Does the regime really want to give them guns? Is this equivalent to the CSA arming the slaves? Which was certainly an act of desperation. |
